5月22日 （水）曇り後時々晴れ
カマイオーレCamaioreからルッカLuccaまで25km。
山越えがあるので朝05時30分に出発13時30分頃到着。
登りが短く下りが長い山を2つ超えました。
石の道標のVFとはローマへの道のヴィッラ・フランジゲーナVia Francigenaの略です。サルザナからVFを歩いていて感じたのですが、道が巡礼者を温かく迎えてくれている。なんか安心して歩けます。
ルッカの中心地は周囲4kmの城壁に囲まれてます。大きい教会がいくつもあり圧倒されます。

May 22 (Wednesday) Sometimes cloudy after fine.
25 km from Camaiore to Lucca.As there is a mountain crossing, I leave at 5:30 am and arrive at around 13:30.
I climbed two mountains.  The climb was short and the descent was long.
The stone signpost VF stands for Via Francigena on the road to Rome.
I feel walking from VF to Sarzana.  The road warmly welcomes pilgrims.I can walk with confidence.
The center of Lucca is surrounded by 4 km of castle walls.  I was surprised that there were many big churches.
